I want to be a psycologist.....surprisingly. I was never really interested in psycology but when I helped one of my friends get through a bad day I felt really good and there was other people around me and this friend and they said "you are good at giving advice maybe you should be a psycologist when you get older." That was when I realized what I wanted to do when I got older.

I think psychology is interesting but I don't care to do that as a job. Now I do not care for psychiatrists at all.

I'm interested on psychology but I don't want to be a psychologist, I don't want to work. I've got another reason, I want to learn more about how my mind works to program it.

I'm actually interested in becoming a psychologist. For me personally, I want to do a lot of research in the field. I've always liked to analyze events that involve people and why they probably happen.

Yes, actually. And lucky for me, my school has a great Psychology branch.

Like many of you said, I am interested in psychology, but not in become a psychologist, I am not looking at jobs where you have to deal with people a lot. A little bit is OK, but things like psychologists and teachers would deal with people too much for me.

Psychology sounds neat, but not sure I want to get a job in it. My parents think I should goto college, but I don't think I want to. What I want to do I don't think they would like. But I gotta live for me.

Psychology research would be great for me. It's one of the topics i enjoy reading about the most.

Yay! People who like psychology! I love psychology, and I want to be a psychologist, although I'm not sure what kind. Social psychology is cool =)

I took a social psychology course last year in college. It was great :)

Psychology helps us communicate with others but at the same time I don't have the passion for it.

I definitely plan on going on to study psychology in university next year. It is by far my favorite subject (that I have any chance of getting a job in, anyway! Creative writing isn't the most lucrative thing in the world :P ).

Still not sure whether I'd go into clinical or research, though.

From about the age of nine to seventeen I was dead set on being a veterinarian. It was only in 12th grade that I realised my interests had shifted almost unconsciously to psychology. I'm an undergrad in community college right now, but have plans to move to my state college and keep working until I get my doctorate. Originally I thought I wanted to work with children, but, seeing as Asperger's has become my latest obsessional interest, I'm thinking I might want to do something in that field of study.
