Can anyone recommend any good jobs that are well suited for people with aspergers? Or does anyone have any info on their experiences in the workplace?

(CAD) Computer Aided Design is a good option in my opinion. It is more creative than its engineering counterpart with less the social interaction (dealing with all the suppliers and vendors, hectic meetings, costing etc). In CAD you take your direction from engineering, put your headphones on and make the design happen on the computer. CAD Jobs usually pay well also.

Is this what you do? How do you go about getting certified for CAD? Do you have to be overly mathematical? Are they hiring?

Here's a great link if anyone is into CAD and is willing to go through the tutorials (they're all free, though). It's Google SketchUp, and I think if you know it really well, the potential for getting a job related to it is pretty good.

I would say something to do with whatever their interest is. For me, it's music. I want to play music and form a band, hopefully when I go to college. If being a well-known band doesn't work out, or make enough money to last me, I'll get a music related job.

I had an intense interest in electronics so I work in electronics now and I like it-a special interest in something can turn into a career-you shouldn't do something to please someone else and what they think you should be or what they think you level of success should be in comparison to others-just because someone is a successful lawyer you should never be pressured to compete with that person by others.
