I do not know if this is normal among those diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, but I just want people to stop talking (stop confusing me) and hit me whenever I am in an argument with them. In particular, this seems to be strongest with my S.O., to the point where I have asked her on multiple occasions to hit me (she has not complied).

So, my question is this: is it normal for those with Asperger's Syndrome to want people to stop confusing them and just hit them?

Also, does anyone have any advice related to this?

I apologize if I posted in the wrong forum. I needed to ask someone about this and my psychologist is on vacation.

Thank you in advance,
Jack

If somebody hits me they'll be spitting out teeth. Plain and simple.

My parents have never hit me, and for good reason. Essentially for the reason that redrobin posted.

Pretty much what redrobin said, but they'd be spitting out more than teeth.

I think you misunderstand a little. My parents have never hit me and never will.

I was never under the impression that your parents had hit you. Admittedly, none of the replies really answered your question, so apologies about that. It's not "normal" for people to want to be hit, to answer your original question.

I am trying to understand more clearly what you mean.

While I do not think it is usual for anyone to want to be hit, I know sometimes when my daughter is confused, she does not seem to process verbal input very well. Usually at a time like that, I need to physically redirect her. Not hit her (ever), but more like if I need her to go to her room, I can't talk about it, I have to put my hands on her shoulders and guide her.

Do you mean that you need physical input to regain your composure? Or do you for some reason feel you need to be punished? Those are two very different things, I think.

I think the OP means they'd rather be hit and get the situation over with instead of dealing with the confusion and anger brought about by arguing.

Oh. If that is the case, I would say it is not "normal."

No, doesn't sound like it.

I don't wish to be hit, hurts my feelings more than my face, but I certainly wouldn't make people spit out teeth. That's worse than hitting someone. You're really effing them up and I do think you deserve the dental bill if you do that.
