I appreciate Snapchat, for making it 1000x easier to do this.

Honestly, this is pretty spot on. It's a little thinner and neater with pencil/pen, but I use a phone so much that it's pretty much the same.

I wrote in both a ballpoint pen and a blue sharpie because I've noticed that my handwriting seems to look better when I write in thicker writing utensils.

I've been told that for a guy, I have pretty nice handwriting, even though not everyone can read it clearly. It gets much crappier when I'm in a rush. I've also noticed that the type of pen I use and that the surface on which I'm writing make a difference in my penmanship.

I used to be far behind my classmates when we were learning handwriting in elementary school. I remember having a sort of meltdown in first grade just because I couldn't write a cursive "e" while we were practicing. My school put a great emphasis on calligraphy and only allowed us to write in cursive, which I found to be extremely difficult. I absolutely hated that at first, but it really forced me to practice my handwriting, which went from being indecipherable and messy to actually being legible and somewhat neat by the time I started second grade. The twelve years that have passed since then have allowed it to improve infinitely, and I'm quite proud of how much it has evolved, as I used to think it would be impossible for me to have nice calligraphy.

Well, here's how I write when I take my time (which means 'very slowly'). If I speed up, it quickly becomes borderline illegible.

"OK. So this is" <- my handwriting when I take my time.
"my handwriting." <- my handwriting when I speed up.
Not much difference though. My letters just get smaller and closer to each other when I get impatient.

i tried to find something in the latin script that was not too personal..couldn't be arsed to make something up just for this.
so yeah, last year's math notes. regarding supplies i kept up on everything except paper! ended up doing notes in me sketchbook a few times and i still have 'em.

That is funny to me that you would say that, because my sisters always commented that my handwriting is terrible.

Up until about 6th/7th grade though, my handwriting was much like 2cat007's.
I don't know how or why I improved.

when WP makes it possible to post images directly instead of having to go through some other site I will post images of things. The way things are done here now are primitive in internet reality.

This is my digital writing. I didn't have a pen on me so I just did it on PaintToolSAI here quickly.
I have pretty poor motor skills with pens; I can control myself better on a mouse, but today I'm having one of those lousy hand days so it's usually much better than this.

Mine pretty much looks like that...except worse...
