I really dont hang out with anyone. I try to sit with the "normal" people, but I usually get left out of the conversation. I always seem to get left out of the conversation. :/

I didn't have any friends for the first year of high school but I eventually made one and it carried on from there, I actually found out recently that he is also an Aspie! We're very different though... I hardly talk at all and he talks way too much XD

My school is too small to have subgroups, we just have Brazilians and foreigners.

In high school I had a few friends I sat with at lunch.

In college, so far, I'm a loner.

No one. Why would I want to hang out with a bunch of people who do not understand me in any way?

the people who understand me. usually happen to be gamers because talking about games is easy for me because it's the one subject i know a whole lot about. wouldn't really consider my group nerds though. geeks i guess.

I guess a mix of "nerds" and "gamers" and a few "stoners." I guess stoners and such I'd readily be able to ally with, if that's what you're implying. Now, though...nobody really. I've kept like....3-4 friends after high school? Then again, I've not been in high school since 2007, so... Overall, I never fit in well with any groups in high school, I basically had interests and stuff that didn't match. I had a group of friends, though... I guess I'm still friends vaguely with that group of 5-6 people, but now it's down to 3. Also, 2 out of those 3 people associate with a larger subgroup of people I no longer associate with. Basically, they became adult nerds, and a few of them work part time at Connecticon's store. They also play D&D and other tabletop RPGs alot. But, I didn't like tabletop RPGs too much, so I just didn't play. I'm now realizing it's not so much that people love tabletop RPGs, but more just socializing in general, with other nerds or whatever. Me, I didn't quite get that people could do stuff they don't enjoy terribly much to spend time with people. Yay for another belated AS trait finding.

Now, at age 20, it's weird, in that, my activities over the past few years have gotten a lot "cooler" but I've lost friends actually. I'm in the weird position where I'll like, go the gym, work on cars, go do in general outdoor activities, pretty "cool" activities, but I'll usually do them alone. Since I'm "nerdy," I don't get along too well with a lot of the people who do such things, but since I do such things, I feel like it creates friction, or at the very least, lack of similarity, with "nerds" when I hang out with them. So now I basically hang out with nobody except a few friends on an individual basis, usually about every week or so for "hanging out", with calls from one of my friends every day or every other day. I guess that's better than probably a lot of other people on here, so I shouldn't really complain. So I'm too "cool" to be a "nerd," but am not "cool" enough to be a cool person, since I don't wanna be a bro who wears Tapout shirts and listens to "party rockers in the house tonight..." while drinking Natty Ice or whatever.

Oh well, longwinded post about nothing, but yeah. Moral of the story, you'll change interests and lose friends after high school, even at 20 years old like myself.

I hang with mainly honors students. Most of them are nerds but also in sports.

My school only has two categories, jocks/rednecks(all the jocks are rednecks, so lump category), and everyone else. Everyone else being the minority. I tend to hang around everyone else, but more particularly the same people I have talked to since elementary school.

No "named" group. My school doesn't seems to have those. The cliques tend to be based on popularity, gender, age, race and ability.
