I'm asking because I haven't gotten my license yet, I'm a terrible driver. I mean, I know the rules of the road and everything, but I suck at applying them. Just wondering if anyone else here is like this.

I was the opposite. I drive pretty good, but it took me four times to get my permit. It only took once for the license. :P

I really can't drive. Mostly because I struggle to take things seriously, especially my own mistakes. that and I have an awkward habit of covering my face with my hands whenever I do something wrong...
yea, probably best that I stay off the road for a while longer. not that I can afford a car now

Although I'm a little young to drive, people in my year group (grade) do drive scooters (as in mopeds or whatever) to school. However, I don't think it's best if I do, especially if I don't change my ways. I have complete lack of judgement about how much space you need between the cars on a roundabout, and being in the front seat with my mum driving round them scares the heck out of me, since they seem dangerous, especially entering them. Also, car horns. They make me jump and look around for where they came from. Not sure it's best to take your eyes off the road. But I dunno, maybe when I'm a little older, I'll be able to drive on the small roads with no cars on them where I live without getting distracted by.. everything moving, since there'll be nothing, or hardly anything. I can drive go-karts.. :D Although I drive way too fast and occasionally crash or spin out, which I do not want to do on roads.

I'm the opposite, I race in motorsport (karting.) My parents say I'm like a fish out of water when walking around etc but a fish in water whenever I'm in a kart/car. I passed my driving test with 1 minor (UK driving test.) I find it strange that so many of us struggle with driving to be honest.
