Well, there is something that I did, since I was little, which It was automatically learned after potty training at 3 years old.

Here's what I do, Everytime I use the toilet, I usually covered myself with a towel on my legs, especially, when I was using the toilet to pass feces, I covered my legs with a towel, Like example, (Removing your hat on the dinner table, or taking their shoes off before going in the house, just like the Japanese did).

Does anyone who has the strangest custom etiquette, that nobody did before?

Do you think, that I did was a custom etiquette or a trait.

*I covered my legs with a towel, since I was 3 1/2 years old.

It is a ritual you have, I haven't heard of anyone else doing that.

Does anyone else in your family do anything like this? I think in order for it to be a "custom," it would have to be something that you have in common with people around you.

Could it perhaps be a sensory issue, caused by disliking the smells or splashing sounds or a fear of something splashing out at you?

It wasn't sensory, Which, sometimes, If I went to the bathroom in the public, I have no problem using it without a towel.

I have never heard of it before. I will admit though, that sometimes when it's freaking cold, I'll do it because it's... Freaking cold.

I agree with you.
My ritual is I always sit down to use a toilet which is unusual because I am male. I do it because I feel splashes are difficult to control if you stand. I have OCD issues as well as AS.
