I'm currently watching the Metropolitan Opera's 2015 production of Offenbach's Les Contes d'Hoffmann. Anyone here that's familiar with that show thinks that Hoffman is Aspie, considering his gullibility, and gets the shaft from every girl he tries to woo?

In addition, other than Nemorino from Donizetti's L'elesir d'amorr, can anyone else think of any other operatic characters that would be on the spectrum?

Just saying sir, are you sure this is posted in the right section?

I'm just not sure many teens would be that interested in opera. Some aspies here might have it as an interest/obsession but I expect you'd get many more replies if this was moved to the Art, Writing and Music or the Random dicusision section.

For some reason this is in the adolescent section, unless that was intentional.

Anyway im not familiar wit that particulur opera, sorry. My interest in opera is purely limited to Maria calla's music.

I have a soprano voice so maybe would prefer opera to other singing.
