Also, you'd already know this but standards is a good thing but being a bit more open minded and liberal can do wonders and sometimes it's surprising just what types of gals you can be compatible with.

But I know your 'ideal girlfriend' in real life a girl doesn't have to be exactly those things but a girl like that would be your dream girl.

Personally i've got 4 types: 1. Nerd girls (not that mainstream geek sh*t, I'm talking genuine nerd). 2. 'Hippy girls' (not too far, just laidback, cares about animals and the environment, vegetarian, type) 3. Goth girls (bit of a darker one, shy, artistic, maybe a bit aggressive but overall friendly) and 4. Mix of 2 or 3.

I like most of those thing you listed in women as well. You have good taste.

Everyone likes the forbidden, right? Then, as a teenager, the ideal girlfriend is the one your parents won't let you date. Of course, this becomes meaningless if they won't let you date at all.

Well, this is mostly guesswork on my part, since I've never been really fond of breaking rules for its own sake, but I increasingly believe this means there's something seriously wrong with me.

For me it would be one that's into cars and wouldn't mind working on them with me and going around car shows.

I'm a girl, but my bae would be the more cheerful, maybe artistic type. I don't care if they're "mainstream" so long as they are

a.) A good person

b.) Emotionally strong

c.) Tolerant and nonjudgemental

d.) Happy/well-adjusted/sociable

and...

e.) Hot.

I am attracted to non-awkward people because I want to be less awkward... I admire it. So therefore, if I get better, I should land one.

OP, I don't think you can find a 12 year old with these traits. Besides, 12 year olds are immature f***s.

I said "at most 2 to 3 year age difference" meaning, they could at most be 2 to 3 years older or younger. Not that I WANTED that. More so i could tolerate a two to three year age diffrence

I like acting, making music, writing, philosophy, poetry and psychology. I dance for fun but not professionally, and while not involved in visual arts, I appreciate it.

At school I was confident, charismatic and ambitious guy, but I was also calm, relaxed and laidback. I wasn't your popular, centre of attention type guy, more like the mysterious, quiet (not shy, but quiet), confident, eccentric guy.

Everyone gave me attention all the time for that fact that I can write with two hands at the same time and am a self-taught ambidextrous person (naturally lefty). I still have this skill and can play nearly every sport either handed as well.

Also, I'm a really laidback, hippy guy. I like meditation, will often be seen with a mug of tea in his hands and leaning casually against walls, environmentalism, and philosophy and into a lot of that 'new age' stuff, I'll admit I'm not a vegetarian or vegan though and never could be.

Sports I like are parkour, basketball, soccer.

From your posts, you do seem like a very nice person - you wouldn't happen to be Australian though, would you???

OP: Why is this thread here exactly? Is it to share what you're looking for and seeing if it gets any of us anywhere, because I've decided to clearly take a shot at it.

My personal tastes are nerdy or hippy girls. Not geeky girls into geek culture like superheroes, sci-fi, anime or whatever, but an actual nerdy girl into science, maths, obscure stuff, etc.

Most of the hippy girls I meet are usually the laidback, 'gangsta' swag acting girls who like to smoke weed all the time. Been there, done that. Those girls are alright, I've had a crush on two before and one liked me back, I usually share some interests with them, and it's nice they're laidback, but my they usually don't like me because of my artistic/hipster side to me.

By hippy girl, I mean something more like environmentalist, vegan, etc., poetry, relaxed and laidback, artistic. Beatnik girls are nice.

Also, goth girls who are laidback, artistic, intelligent, etc. are also great to me.

Also an open, honest girl who can talk about anything. And also, a confident girl who knows what she wants in a relationship, and what kind of person she's looking for. I've dealt in the past too much with people who don't know what they want, something I'm tired of dealing with. I don't do online anything unless they live in the same country and just a few hours away at most...

Damn, it almost sounds like my taste is strict too, brandon guy! I don't mean it to sound strict, these are just my preferences and a gal who's 25% the things I listed is good too.

I prefer older females...I'd date up to age 20 if I could, even higher than that once I turn 18. My first girlfriend was 19 while I was 16. She was 2 years, 11 months older. I recently turned 17, and she 20, so if we were still together....the age difference was commented on a lot.

And same here. I can tolerate 15 youngest max....I'm 18 this year so best i date up, not down.

I'd love a girlfriend who has good music taste and similar interests when it comes to tv and films, and somebody who can make me laugh, also not boring, i hate boring people

That sounds pretty cool. I can't be confident for the life of me, which is partially why I haven't found someone yet...

That being said, I'm not the kind of person who jumps at the chance for a relationship every time one comes along, I've rejected four people in my time, so it's okay insofar that I'm not dating anyone who I don't like.
