I grew up with dark brown eyes and I haven't looked in the mirror closely in a few months, I was just looking at myself and when I stared into my eyes I realized they are light green.

My mom has green eyes btw.

Take a picture now and compare it to before they "changed".
Ask your parents to look so you can get a second opinion.

Genetically inherited heterochromia and certain foods very high in potassium, for example, are why some people exhibit changes in eye colour. The changes are transient, not permanent, though the underlying heterochromia is permanent. It is a natural variation not an illness nor disease.

I once knew a girl in college who's eye colour changed every day. It was cool to see, but I don't know if it's a bad thing. She didn't seem bothered by it, so I guess it's nothing to worry about. Then again, it could be a case-by-case basis, so take my excerpt with a grain of salt.
