Socialisation problems

I was wondering if anybody has sevier socialisation difficulties. I cant speak to anyone that dosnt come by my house for weeks. My social worker has been coming since January and I still havent spoken to her. My home tutor had been coming for 7 weeks everyday for an hour before I said a word to her. I just cant speak to "strangers" if someone talks to me that I dont know I freeze, look at the floor and panic. I dont know what Im going to do when I get older I have a fear or becoming totally isolated or a hermit. I was wondering if anybody else has socialisation difficulties this sevier.

I have social problems and it is hard for me to meet new friends. I can't tell when to joke with someone and when to be serious. It's hard for me to keep friends because i always end up saying or doing the wrong thing, then they just avoid me and turn around when they see me coming. this makes me so confused and wonder what I did wrong!

I'm fortunate in that I'm not that bad, but I have no idea how or when to ask people...out to do stuff, ofte do to the fact that I don't really trust or know how good many of my friends are. I don't know how really, I just rely on others to organise things.
