I've decided to start a blog about AS. I've been wanting to discuss what it's like with the condition and how we're the first generation that has (for the most part) had treatement and social-skills training from the get-go.

My AS Blog

If you're bored, I'd appreciate it if you took a look, even though I only have one entry up. Please give me feedback! Thanks!

Well done. Join the crowd.

Just a couple of tips which you don't have to listen to if you don't want to...

1. Choose your audience
Work out who you want to read your blog and tailor it a bit. Do you want other people your age to read it? Parents? Teachers? Social Workers? Medical Professionals? People with Aspergers? Whatever you choose, tailor the language a little. I noticed that the title of your first post was a bit ... sweary? and even the tone was a bit aggressive. If your intended audience is people your own age, it's fine but a lot of fundamentalists, non-sweary types etc will take one look at the title and will go elsewhere.

2. Promote Yourself
Get yourself a Digg account and Digg your submissions. You'll be surprised at what happens.

Best of luck.
