There are a lot of college scholarships available. Some (like the ones from fastweb), you have to write an essay for. But if you spend three hours writing the essay and you end up winning $100, then that's a good pay-off for the amount of work you put in.
Other colleges offer scholarships for good grades and test scores in high school (usually 3.5 GPA and 1600 on the new SAT is on the lower end of the cut-off, though...). Depending on what you're looking to major in or what you like to do in your spare time, some schools offer scholarship money to students who are into music or sports. Some schools also offer need-based aid, which goes to students who may not be able to attend or pay for college on their own.
Look into the specific colleges for information on their financial aid. Each college is different with what it provides aid for and what the requirements are. Also, if you plan on trying to get federal aid, you'll need to fill out a copy of the FAFSA.
You should talk to the person at your school who is helping you through the college application process about this. He (or she) has a lot more resources and knowledge than I do and is getting paid to help students with this kind of stuff. For a scholarship for people who are on the spectrum, try doing a google search. There are all sorts of scholarships out there. Ask someone at your school where to start looking. Best of luck.
Hope this helps.
