I know quite a few guys who cross their legs even though they don't have AS. It's not really that abnormal.

Legs crossed at the knee or at the ankle? With or without pantyhose?

I'm a guy, and I've worn skirts and dresses. It's really not as traumatizing as it's cracked up to be.

To me wearing skirts and dresses would be on a whole other level. Crossing legs is supposed to be feminine, but I don't really find it so radical at all for a guy to do it. I do it without thinking much of the time.

i used to look at the way people sat a lot and i picked out a bunch of positions i liked, i came damn close to naming some
stretching your legs out and crossing them at your ankles is still masculine (that was my favorite when it was cold)

but yea you just pick that stuff up, i was doing it for awhile when i was hanging out with a feminine guy allot, if you do stuff like that allot new people you meat might think your gay

but yea everyone (especially teenagers) will do it a bit, don't freak out

I kiss my pets!

And I hug my mom!

The difference is I decided I don't give a jack s**t what other people think.

A lot (if not most) of gender behaviors are cultural, and thus arbitrary. And maybe not picking up on non-verbal cues as well as average means you'll have to learn it a little more consciously. It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you.

When I was a teen I noticed the leg crossing thing, and eventually got into the habit doing the ankle-to-knee style (though I've seen males do it the other way, also; it's just a lot less frequent). I found there are a lot of little rules that like that and some I don't worry about; after a point it became endless all the little things I was doing 'wrong.' At a certain point you have to balance how much it costs you (mental & psychological energy) with how much weirdness from others you want to deal with.
