Same as the title: Do you know any other teens at school with Asperger's?

No, but I wish I did.

I do, however, know quite a few aspies at the special summer camp I go to in Canada. It's called Camp Kodiak, and I like being there more than anywhere else in the entire world. I've gone there for six years. Last year in my cabin, there were 3 other aspies in my cabin, as well as 5 children with other disabilities.

I wish I did. 'Twould be really nice to have a little bit of company... depsite my quirks. However, most of my friends and I have a lot in common (generally smart, somewhat social outcasts) that it doesn't really matter.

It would be really cool to know another teen with AS in person because then that might provide me with someone to communicate with who actually understands me. :|

I'm homeschooled, so I don't know anyone at all from school. I do know a couple of people my age who I suspect are aspies, but I don't know for sure.

I came on WP to actually find people like me. There are a few at school, but I don't know who they are.

Statistically speaking (I think there's about 1 out of every 200 or 250 people), there would be at least one or two other people at my school who have AS, but the chances that I'd know them (and I would know they have AS) are quite slim. However, my friend's older brother has AS, but he doesn't go to my school. :|

I don't know anyone at my school with AS either. I've suspected some people to have it, but I don't know for sure; you never really know until you ask I guess...but if I asked, chances are, they wouldn't know what AS was, and I'd feel like and idiot or something else. A teacher told me that there were a few other kids at my school that had Aspergers, but they couldn't tell me any of their names for the sake of confidentiallity rules; it would be cool if they asked the other person if they wanted to be friends or meet another aspie, but they didn't. I think it's quite rare to know another aspie in school; especially girl aspies since they aren't as common as boy aspies. If I did know another aspie, it would contribute a lot of help, and we would each know what we're talking about, and we'd each have a person to go to for some aspie help that we can't get from NT's. People don't fully understand Asperger's until they have it; it's just "one of those things".

In retrospect I'm pretty sure several of my friends were somewhere on the light end of the autistic spectrum. Unfortunately, two years ago when I was still in high school, I knew barely anything about AS and just hung out with them because they were fascinating. Most everyone else found them too weird to hang out with. Asocial, mind-blind, goofy, disturbingly intelligent nerds -- that was us.

I've never knowingly met another person with AS. I recenlty learned that I knew one on the bus last year. I don't know if he was dx'd, but he fits the criteria perfectly. But I didn't like him enough to befriend him.

I wish I knew someone else with Asperger's as well. In statistics there would be one or two of us per year group but I think that's unlikely that there's anyone else my age with it... and considering I have officially graduated school I guess I don't know anyone at school who has it, only people who I formely went to school with.
I would love to meet someone around my age - or anyone - who had it though.[/i]

One of my friend has an Aspie brother, and the only other Aspie I've knowingly met in real life stuck to two other people for the 3-day course. I have to say though, that I clicked with Jack (said brother) because he was so interesting and we share the same sense of humour. At the time I didn't think anything of it, but now I'm realising there may have been a reason to it!
