Being Older sucks. I mean childhood has crappy and lonely too but now being 19 is a whole another level of being crappy and lonely. At least when you are younger you don't have any major responsibities. Im on the verge of being kicked out the house cuz of my anxiety about finding another job. Cherish your young teenager years while you can.

I'd say you've got it lucky.

Okay, some of these posts are examples of older people not taking me seriously because of my age.

Either most of you forgot about what this feels like or I don't know, there could be another reason...

I don't mean to make this topic like a rant, but none of you seem to understand at all...

When I was 16 I wanted to be 18. Now that I'm 18 I want to be 16 The responsibility that comes with age sucks, but it is also good for making you grow up. If I could re-do 14-17 I would, get something more out of them and enjoy those years more and act like less of an idiot. I look back on things I used to do/say and it makes me cringe Being called 'kid' and not being taken seriously is a definite negative to being younger, but on the other hand not much is expected of you. Both sides of the coin are mixed blessings I'd say.

Well, I just think it's a curse all the way...

When you start having to worry about finding full time work, higher education, taxes, paperwork, etc etc you might not agree, as I'm starting to find out

I don't care about being older I'd rather be younger because I'm real nervous about going to college next year It's the college students that are making me nervous. I'd rather just stay at my high school.
