I could be happy staring at a wall for like, a ridiculously long time . Sometimes I daydream at weird times too.
I daydream about anime TV shows, what do you people daydream about??? :P

Sure I am.
I'm not just staring, though. I'm doing something. Thinking. Daydreaming. Concentrating. My mind is alive, probably more so than it would be if I looked engaged.

If I'm staring at a wall, I am at the very least studying the patterns in the wall. Isn't it cool how spackling can look like little faces, or animals, or Waldo...much like cloud pictures...

Discussing a lot of the stuff I daydream about would get me banned from WP  But seriously - I often fantasize about being financially stable. Maybe owning my own business, or winning the lottery, paying off the mortgage and actually owning my own home. See what exciting things you have to look forward to as you grow up?

Depends. How interesting is the wall in question?

If you mean staring AT the wall, then that can be fun for a while depending on patterns, deformities etc. If you mean that the eyes are pointing towards the wall because they have to be pointing somewhere while one thinks, then that can be fun for a lot longer.

Is that an aspie thing? Because I can do that to, and I never knew why.

I often find myself doing this, and don't ever get bored of it.

i seem to do it alot, it's nearly drug like for me, i daydream and all sounds fade away trapped in my own little world, and then all of a sudden i snap out of it, used to happen atleast three or more times a day! i'm perfectly comfortable when staring at walls

YES! I notice these sorts of things in markings on the tiles on the bathroom floor.

In regards to staring at walls, I don't do so because I find the wall itself entertaining, but because i'm most likely physically looking at it but mentally in another place. I stare at my bedroom wall a lot when listening to music.

I don't.

I stare into nothingness often whenever I forgot to stare at something, but (bare?) walls have never been of an interest to me.

with walls im usually thinking while my eyes are pointed at nothing in particular

but i love staring at the sky on partly cloudy days, sometimes for exceptionally long times, probably because i don't usually notice the sky at all

Don't know. (Never payed attention if I did.)

..............But, when I was younger, I did like to run my hands through the cracks in the Elementary school wall.............I might even touch the wall sometimes now............

EDIT: BTW, by cracks in the wall, I don't mean cracks as in what it gets if it's broken, I mean cracks that are part of the wall's design. (BTW, BTW means, "By The Way."-'case ya don' know.)

I love looking at the different patterns in a wall :D (Little quirks like paint dots or wooden swirl things)
