Has anyone else ever fallen in "love" with one of their teachers or someone substantially older. I have a tendency to fall for older men. I'm attracted to my literature because of his intellect and eccentricities. It's kind of embarrassing, but he is one of the only reasons why I still willingly attend school.

See, I was right.

Incidentally, I have a bit of a crush on one of my students. (Don't worry she's legal). Was trying to convince myself to say something (of course I wouldn't though) if I hadn't ended up with her in my class this quarter. Real cute.

When I was in 4th grade, and again in 8th grade, I had crushes on my teachers. But I didn't 'fall in love with them' just crushes. Even at the time, I knew this.

Are you attracted to them because you feel they are maybe more stable and mature?

I'm 17, and he's probably in his mid 30's

I've had stuff like this happen to me quite a few times, once my sophmore year, my religion teacher. And one of my english teachers. Not so much deeply in love, or lust or infatuation. The main reason I guess was cause I was going through hel in high school and my religion teacher always backed me up and was sorta like a therapist for me in school. Also she was really smart and into the same type of music and movies. One of my english teachers moreso because she can hold a conversation steadily, without being ditzy, (plus she looks like an older version of Aeris from FFVII, just noticed that today)

I had a dream about the breasts of one of my teachers when I was in fourth grade. I've been attracted to some of the graduate students that teach classes here.

Forgive me for mentioning this in an inappropriate forum, but I had a crush on my teacher when I was in 3rd grade. I used to fantasize about us spending time together although I knew it would never happen.

I once had a small crush on my sixth grade science teacher. My friend, whom was in the science class across the hall but also liked him, was so jealous that I was in his class! lol We got over him a few months before the end of the school year. But he sure was hot! And smart, too!

I've never had a crush on a teacher (that I can recall). However, I've known people who have had crushes on teachers, and quite obbessivly too. I think it's more or less a normal thing.

I've found a few of my teachers in High School to be pretty attractive. Two of them are in their mid 30s, and the other one in her mid 20s. Of course if I said anything though, everyone would think I was a freak  .

In my era, Van Halen was popular enough that we all pretty much discussed such things - didn't have anyone attractive enough in HS though.

I've never had a crush on a teacher, but apparently I did when I was in Year 2! With my teacher then, he had dark hair and glasses, and all the mums and nans used to say what a cheeky smile he had. I remember really liking him as a teacher, but I don't remember having a crush on him. I'm sure I would remember!
I wish I had a teacher who looked like David Tennant in Doctor Who! I loved it when he was the teacher at the school in the "School Reunion" episode! Mmmm...

My son had a really hot teacher when he was in 4th grade. I wouldn't have minded having a few after school "lessons" with her.

yep, in grade seven. Somebody found out and spread rumors around the school and passed notes around that said nasty stuff about what we "did" together (Like that's true, but whatever)
