Do any of you have good memories for things like codes and stupidly long numbers like 01189998819991197253 but not for remembering your PE kit (for example) like me?

Yeah, I remember stuff randomly that happened years ago, so that would make sense.

I can remember long words, like Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia and Antidisestablishmentarianism, but not things like homework, or birthdays.

I guess that short term memory means that kind of memory that after a while you trash it.... kinda you don´t need to remember the clothes you wear each day or what you had for meal each day of the week...
Somehow the brain "transform" short term in long term...

It is kinda of strange to me... Every night I have to lock my front door before I go to sleep.... but them this happens: I lock the door, then I go to my room set the alram clock, take my medicine, and when I finally lay down on my bed I already forgot weather I have already locked the front door or not!! !! !! !! !! !! ! Every day I have to check it twice!! !! !! ! It is amazing!! !

Yeah, I find myself checking stuff twice, too, coz I cant remember doing it and I need to make sure I did. I also have blank spots in my day...

...and I hardly ever remember my lessons I did at school unless I look at my timetable.
