I voted "yes" because I sometimes like crust. It depends on the bread.

I often use a really nice european bun for my sandwiches. I use salami, sometime Italian salted ham (I can't spell the proper name for it), some roasted peppers, a little provolone cheese and some artichoke pesto as a spread. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

However, if it is generic type Wonderbread - I will remove the crusts. Actually, I would probably prefer to just remove all the bread - but then it wouldn't be a sandwich anymore....

I didn't vote because I can't eat bread. It gives me heartburn and diarrhea because I'm sensitive to the gluten in it.

I used to eat sandwiches, though. I left the crusts on and first I would eat the crusts all the way around so that the best part of the sandwich was saved for last. I did the same thing with pancakes: ate the edges first and the middle part last.

My favorite sandwich is both heels of the bread. Do heels have crust? Or do you consider them "all crust"? Is this a yes or a no?

When I was young I refused to eat crusts and made my parents/grandparents cut them off before giving me a sandwich. I still don't like crust but it feels like a waste to cut them off so I eat all the crusts first and then enjoy the rest of my sandwich, like Sparrowrose said. Toast crust is much more pleasant to eat than bread crust.

But I also agree with CanadianRose that it depends on the bread. I was thinking just of generic bread when I voted "no".

I consider them "all crust", and I'm sad to report that they often go in the garbage at my house because nobody likes them. I occasionally take them when I feel too guilty about wasting food.

My partner won't eat the heels of his loaves of bread so I feed those slices to Evie and Hamster, our fancy rats. They love bread. And they're just fine about crusts.

i don't believe in food wastage, so i won't throw away the crusts. i often just eat the sandwich outside first, circumferentially, so that the crust is swallowed first so as to not compromise the flavor of the yummy inner part of the sandwich. sometimes i will go through the trouble of cutting the crust off to use as stuffing later.

I prefer not to eat sandwiches. However when I am forced under various circumstances to eat a sandwich with wheat bread, I prefer to not eat the crust if plausible.
