I'm not sure on the dating thing. There's a girl and I'd happily say I'm madly in love with her. We see each other every Monday for drama but now she's gone to Egypt for the rest of the term so I won't see her until Feburary next year. I'm gonna miss her but that's not the problem. I can't work out if she feels the same back. We always kid around, I manage to make her laugh etc. Gave her $20 for her bday and last Christmas we got each other prezzies (she told me she was getting me one so I got her one back). She invited me to last years Easter party but not this year. We generally get along and I want to ask her out but I'm not sure what to do (btw I'm 14 and she's 12, bit of an age gap but there's bigger ones in the world. She would be exactly 2 years younger if her birthday weren't a week before mine). Any advice on how to find out. Also she might know anyway cus I asked to her to movies once using the excuse most of my friends aren't showing up. She was on holiday which I didn't know about so that sucked and I sent her this email earlier today

You'll probably leave before you check this but I'll send it anyway. I would have sent it earlier but Friday I couldn't get online and Saturday by the time I got into my email I forgot why I went there. I just wanted to send an email to say have fun in Egypt, take some pics so I know what it and stay safe. See ya in Feburary.

Look her in the eyes and see how she reacts. If she blushes or seems nervous somehow it means she feels something. If she doesn't react, she might just be hiding it well. You could try complimenting her looks and see how she reacts to that. Of course, she'd have to be there with you.
