are you tired of people rejecting you cause you got different taste in music or anying else (that has nothing to do with music). are you sick of people who follow the crowd? do you hate trends? are you sick and tired of people calling you weird just cause you like metal (or anything else NOT relating to music) and you hate pop or what else is "WHATS HOT"?

Are you annoyed by fat metal heads who are so stuck-up in this culture of metal that they know nothing to do with the real world? I had a friend, who was a metal head/grunge type of person.
All he ever seemed to was moan about how 'chavs' treated him, yet he would go around actually trying to start fights with them.
That annoyed me. I've been told I'm unique, or wierd by some many different people. Well for one I don't seem to have a niche I fit into.

One reason why you may feel rejected is because you spout of how much you loathe popular music. I have one problem with this idea thart you you should be stigmatised for likeing popular music, as this genre is with out doubt one of most diverse genres out there. It's so diverse everyone from Kurt Cobain to Marc Almond are included in that genre.

ramsamsam- THANK YOU. Popular music is "popular" for a reason- a lot of people like it, ergo, a lot of people find SOMETHING good in it. Even if it is utter crap people shouldn't be stigmatized for listening to it. I admit I listen to some junk, but it's entertaining junk. So shoot me.

TheViking- by saying "Not music" a million times in parantheses, you only emphasize the subject of music, not change the topic away from it.

viking, unless the people that you 'hate' are telling you to follow trends; unless they are directly starting fights with YOU (and if all of that is true, then what kind of town do you live in?), why complain?
