Do you ever feel like you're not a true teenager? I feel that way often.

I mentioned this many times before, and I wrote a couple of long posts on this very matter. I won't restate everything but I felt like an old man trapped in the body of a little boy. I felt miserable being in a juvenile world. My teachers called me things like "little old man" because I was stiff and rigid and wouldn't "loosen up." with my peers.

Being stuck mentally in the 1920's was a social death-sentence for me. I couldn't relate to the pop-culture trends or the liberal ideaologies of my classmates. I liked things to be dark, gloomy, and morose, which was decisively at odds with the styles my peers were into. My parents tried hard to get me to loosen up and mix with other kids my age, but I refused.

^^ I am not quite certain. I feel wobbly comparing myself with other individuals, as every individual is different, however my parents have often described me as an "anti-teenager". ^^ I am not certain that I fit any stereotypical age group. ^^ I believe I am very excitable in similar ways to a typical child, yet enjoy quiet like a typical older human.

I feel way more mature than most teenagers in a lot of ways, but sometimes, like when I feel scared or angry or something, get the odd feeling of reverting to a child's mind/personality for a moment. When I feel weaker, I want a cookie or a toy or something.

I do feel like a teenager, but usually a younger one, about 13. But other times I feel like an old person because I find it rediculous that people my age are mad about popularity and drinking just to get hammered, I find it very immature.
So I'm emotionally 12/13 with the mindset of a 90 year old.

I sometimes feel more like a little kid. Considering I look two years younger.

Mentally, I think I'm about 27, so yeah, I'm a complete alien amongst teenagers. :?

I'm quite sure i'm either a 148,578 year old Demonical called Shadow or perhaps a 147,000,000,000 year old being called Death....lol

Nah I don't feel much older than I am, I act older sometimes, but generally I feel 16, which is fine by me really (Though I don't get drunk (Alcohol is pointless), Smoke (Also pointless, except for collecting Po-210) or take drugs (again pointless)

I feel like a preteen most of the time, but other times, I do feel like a teenager, around 15-16, all because of my whole drama queen act.

I tend to feel like I'm 5, 8, 13, 21, or 34 at times.

Hey, I think I see a familiar pattern

People say I'm 15 on the outside, 40 on the inside. :)

I don't feel like I'm eighteen.
In some ways, I feel much older and far beyond the nonsense of the majority of my generation.
Yet in other ways, I feel very immature and miles behind them.
There's no middle-ground. I feel very imbalanced.

I've always felt old, twice my age in most cases. Nowadays I'm told I have the wisdom of an old man, but the spirit and mentality of a 6 year old. I love old-style dancing and such too, like tap dancing and swing. *sigh* I feel like I just had my experiences erased, but my habits are still there.

Sometimes. There are rare moments when I feel very grown up, but frequently I feel very immature and as if I belong in the lower school with younger age groups
