I've recently been very interested in anything and everything Rocky Horror Picture show (I just found out that the show's run on Broadway started on my birthday in 1975; I think it's fate that I like this movie so much). I'm a virgin but a very avid masturbater (for those of you who aren't fans, it means I've never seen the stage show but I watch it at home all the time; it means NOTHING about my sex life.) Recently I was looking around IMDB and I found the following article.
Rocky Horror Picture Show 2010
For those of you too lazy to scope out the link, all it says is the name and popularity change this week. However, I'm super excited to see progress on this project. I love the 1975 version and hope this next one gets released to theatres. Anyone have strong positive/negative feelings toward this movie? Hopes and dreams for the remake? Specific worries? Full costumes for all the characters? It would be an absolute pleasure to have the partici-pation!
I would also like to note my opinion on Shock Treatment. I, once again, am a virgin but a very avid masturbater. I think it's super creative and I really like especially the concept of bringing back the actors as different but shockingly similar characters. I think it might have been better had Jonathon Adams chosen to come back and take the role of Bert. It, in my opinion, is one of the most horribly underrated movies ever. You can't view it as a sequel or a prequel, you have to view it as an equal but with a slightly different style. I don't think Barry Bostwick could have been as good as Cliff De Young and the same story with Susan Sarandon. It was a great film I loved and watch all the time. The actor's strike of 1980 was sort of a gift, in that we got this gem of a rewrite out of it.
