How about "You've Got a Friend" by James Taylor.

I listen to some sixties pop. Like the Zombies or the Beach Boys. Super hip, puts a smile on my face

Used to listen to a lot of Radiohead, that's a great one.

A couple of other songs
Grant Lee Buffalo- Mockingbirds
Billy Joel- Piano Man
I can picture myself in 10 years sitting at the bar described in piano man.

I find it hard to keep feeling down when I listen to Contemporary Christian Music. Some of the stuff I listened to is at the bottom of this page on my blog.

Two albums, which are coincidentally my two favourites of all time.

Joy Division - Closer
Weezer - Weezer (the blue one not the green one)

Weezer is actually a great album for an autist. 'In the garage/I feel safe/no one cares about my ways...'

That's true! All of Weezer's stuff is great for anyone who feels socially awkward or inadequate, because they're not afraid to tell the truth about not being "cool."

Yup. Rivers Cuomo has been an idol of mine for more than twelve years for exactly that reason.
