The Mexican border is on the other side of the state. I could go to the other border created by a river and call myself Tim_OK though. Oklahoma is only 20 minutes away.

well I commonly leave for a week or two sometimes now
it gets tiresome after awhile

Tim,

You're making a huge difference here.

Everyone knows you and (dare I say it) you're even more the voice of WP than Alex.

if you wanted to make more of a difference, you'd have to think about;

1. What type of differences you mean?
2. How would you measure whether or not you made a difference?

If you need to, maybe take a break from WP.

See if that helps.

We'll still be here when you get back.

Oh and the comments about a new alias is good too - don't kill your Tim Tex alias but consider a temporary less serious alias. There must be stronger subjects you'd like to post.

Feel free to take a rest from WP but I don't think that you should delete your account. You seem to be always adding something to a variety of topics...and welcoming the new members which i'm sure they appreciate.
Think about it, you have posted more than 10,000 times and since I have been here I have not seen anyone complain about you once. That must mean something, right?

You are a valued member here...so don't make any irrational decisions. If you leave, we will miss you, but ultimately it's your choice.
