I see that since you first posted this thread babycakes that you have started posting about your interests in other forums. Thats a good way to get people to start conversations by pm when you know them better. This is a good start on improving your social skills.

Maybe, but if she does have problems it doesn't mean that wasn't being arrogant, it could be that she's planned that whole thing out. Maybe she's just jerking you around. I wouldn't trust a fellow Aspie to be insightful about that sort of thing, nor would I trust myself to be.

babycakes, there are thousands of members on WP so finding people who you can befriend will take time.
I know it's sad to feel that you don't have any friends, but I've seen a thread of yours asking for friends and I don't think you will make any that way. If you post here regularly, some people might get to know a bit more about you and PM you because they think you are interesting/kind/funny, etc. Friendship is a lot more than an overnight endeavour and maintaining a friendship, IMO, is harder than initially making one.
I have no doubt that you will find friends eventually, it's just a matter of being around people who appreciate you or have something in common with...and WP does seem like a good place to start.
