Fragrances and the noise of Leaf Blowers. Vacuum cleaners are almost as bad, but they are mostly inside other people's houses. The leaf blowers are everywhere it seems. I will go a long way out of my way to avoid having to walk by one. The sound makes it feel like there's something inside me tearing everything to pieces.

Any social situations where I have to interact with strangers face to face.

-People touching me while I am trying to eat.

-Too many noises/appliances, etc. happening at the same time.

-Last-minute change in plans that really screws with the rest of my schedule.

-The colors of blue and red contrasted too closely to each other. Early childhood development people consider it as 'stimulating to the child's brain'. I call them sadists.

Yes! Also people talking to me when I'm trying to cook. Dangerous!

Just being out in public around lots of people. I can't be myself when I am around people I don't know or otherwise feel comfortable around. Then combine that with lots of loud noise or trying to go somewhere on a holiday weekend where people are rude and in a hurry and it is like super kryptonite.

Just learned a new kryptonite: young homophobic boys. I can't legally beat the s**t out of them or it's child abuse, and if I scare them a little, everyone gangs up on me as the evil fa***t (terminology borrowed from the little s**ts after they threw their drink at me while on a bike). Next time I see them, I'm opening an adult-sized can of whup-ass on them!

Bullies - because I get so angry

Broken hearts - because I get so sad

Anyone touching me suddenly. Particularly on the back. Makes me jump out of my skin, and go blank mentally.

Seconded. Also, certain forms of bodily contact, crowds of people or too much stimulus altogether.

Some people have also had that effect on me. With most of them, I've learned to beat them, but that character type in general, that one who is hypocritical, illogical, malicious and controlling but nonetheless can turn the situation on its head and make me look like a total as*hole for so much as speaking my mind or standing up for myself, still rubs me the wrong way and triggers bad memories regardless.

The main one is distraction. If I see something that catches my eye on a major scale such as a woman, my speech has been known to slow down to a stop.
Engines, listening to the rev limiter stresses me every time as they miss the peak of gear changing. I just sometimes stop to listen, how quickly it grows in sound fascinates me.
Not know what to do next, nothing to do... I just stop

New kryptonite:

The type A drivers here in San Marcos (south of Austin). They're worse than their counterparts in Dallas.

Me too. No really. Every one.
