I was at a mall today when I walked by a Super Shammie kiosk. I was minding my own business when the salesman offered me a free sample. I used my usual response where I glance at him and shake my head no. He says I can use it to clean my sunglasses. I keep walking.

Then he says this gem: "Maybe it'll give you something to smile about."

"Maybe it'll give you something to smile about."

WTF?!?!

It's bad enough when I get it from people I know, but total strangers?!?! What did I do to this guy?!?!

My response: "F*** you!"

Not my best moment. He didn't even hear me because by this time he was already turned away from me talking to someone else and the rest of the mall crowd probably drowned me out. I almost went back there to yell at him, but I realized it would likely make things worse.

I left. It made me want to cry, but I didn't. I sucked it up like I usually do.

*sigh*

I'm going to contact mall management. Nothing will probably happen, but it's about all I can do.

Of course, what would make me feel better is to go back to the mall, stand a good distance away, and give him my 1000-mile stare (it's even more potent than the 1000-yard stare :| ) while he tries to sell his merchandise so he gets unnerved and flustered and royally screws up any chance he has of making a sale.

f**k. I'm a 1. I have an exam at 9 tomorrow, my friends in my dorm have either finished exams and left for the holidays, or they're studying and don't want to talk to me. Mostly because they have their boyfriends or girlfriends to talk to instead and i am single so i have no one. I aslo have to go back to my parents house for the holidays starting next week and not looking forward to it. :(

What a jerk. An episode like that would probably put me to -10.

But at the moment I'm -1.

^ I hate the charity people who stand around in the main street or in the shopping centres trying to push people into talking them. I cross the road to avoid them only to find another one standing in the same place on the other side of the street :x. I just ignore them. It's part of their job to find themselves ignored by lots of people, and another part of their job is to take the lack acknowledgment from passers by graciously, without saying a smartass comment.

+7. I replaced the permanently-dead battery in my motorscooter with a new one, and rode yesterday for 45 minutes. I hadn't ridden in about 3 months, and it stimulated my brain.

The hawker-like salespeople here arent too bad. Mostly we just get people wanting to massage dead sea salts into peoples skins and they just look a bit disappointed when their attempts fail to get someone to massage.

Anyway I am a 3 I think. Feeling pretty crappy but because pretty crappy is an average for me I dont see the point in posting a negative as I would never post anything above 0!

Weather isnt too bad, might get better a little later, I guess I could go to the botanical gardens with my camera...

I am spending far less time on the computer now and trying to stay away from junk food but I feel a bit better, if extremely bored and wondering how I am going to entertain myself now.

I have picked up the exercise machine I bought and it seems to be ok.

Anyway must get off the computer again. Post in a few days...
