I have spent time thinking about masturbation, it's one of the safest and most pleasurable addictions one can get but most people want to quit. It just FEELS wrong even if it isn't...

as for discussing the issue with parents, the best one to bring it up with would be your father (if you are still able to contact him or whatever. Ill tell a story just because Im pretty sure some other people may be able to relate to it.

back when I was in highschool, like sophmore year I think it was, I just turned 15 at the beginning of that school year, soo... lets just say I was over at my fathers house for the weekend. I used to go at it a lot when I was as young as you, but you'll tone it down a bit as you get older.
I still do it and damn me to hell if I ever stop for what ever reason, it feels good, it's natural and you want to do it, so do it.
But don't make it into a hobby as you grow older, prioritize other things, + the longer you wait the better it will feel, just a tip.

The part with your parents getting cross with you for doing it I cannot understand, if they would get angry with me I'd return the favor. Masturbation is not a sin or anything of that kind, it's just sexual and nature, and we're part of both.

You can't blame nature for it's creatures doing what is natural, which is ensuring the progression of the species. Historically human males have had a pretty short life expectancy after puberty, what with so much of our history books being filled with wars and the like. If your parents got a male puppy that was in puberty they'd either have to put up with it humping the furniture/people's legs, or get it neutered. Your parents can't get you neutered, so they should just be glad you're not humping the furniture (You aren't humping the furniture are you?).

Can you define addiction, OP? As in, how often? This might sound a bit creepy I suppose but if it's less than 5 times a day I do not see it that much of a problem especially considering the other post's in this thread.
