Don't let other people ruine your birthday if you can avoid it. Do something you want to do today. If it's weird to the same people that don't care about your birthday, then even better. F*** them! Seriously, say it outloud. F*** them! Then have yourself a good time doing whatever you want.

I felt emediate sympathy for you and your very short introduction post. I always use to get depressed around my birthday and for me it use to be difficult to the grade that I wont even put words on it. I think you are amazingly BRAVE! Who say it, right out on the internet AND as a newbie as the very very first post on a for you completely new forum, wow!!

So, I want you to feel the greatest welcome to Wrong Planet and this with some Birthday celebration! But I wouldnt dare to "give you any s**t", lol. Because when you are depressed what you need is to be cheered up. I have no clue what you like and whats make you happy. I can only know whats make me happy. And this is YouTube, my special interest.

Thanks for the kind replies, I wasn't feeling myself earlier. I'm starting to feel better now . I've been suffering from chronic depression for 2 years now, mostly from social difficulties and anxiety, but I must keep going.
I very much enjoyed the Sesame Street Bday vid by the way!
