I know you wonder how your cat got sick so quickly. It was the same way with Bubba. I saw him before leaving for work one morning, and when I came home I couldn't find him right away. I called and called for him and then found his body. Sometimes, I think nature just takes its toll. 14 years is within the average lifespan. Doesn't make it any easier to accept though.

I`m so sorry for your loss! I love cats! I feel so bad!! ! My dog of almost 16 years died last June 17th and I cried HARD! In November 2008 my other dog ran away but for some reason I didn`t cry and she was like a best friend to me!
