Problem: I have had a relationship with a woman who currently in prison for the last six years. She wants to take the final plunge but how can I tell my parents? They are extremely controlling and and I can't stand up to them. They treat me like a six year old and its getting tiring. I do not think that this would be accepted at all. Some personal background information I am 37 years old and I am a male. I am going to the Asperger community for your comments.
What should I do???
To be very blunt, from your own explanation I can see why your parents treat you like a 6 year old. You need to take a seriously hard look at the kinds of decisions you make (something like this usually isn't an isolated incident)! Chances are she is using you anyway. People in prison have a tendency to take advantage of people they see as a possible easy mark.
Don't stand up to your parents on this one, either let them help you grow up or let them have full guardianship over you!
