Addicted to sad music?

I was wondering if I was the only one who made the mistake of listening to unsettling music when in a bad mood.

I didn't think it would harm me at first, but now I feel I "have to" listen to them and feel even worse in a bad mood, tips for getting away from this?

I start with music that matches my mood, then gradually add more upbeat selections, using the music to pull me out of the cellar.

Listen to some roots blues.

A little B.B. King "Nobody Loves Me But My Mama, and She Could Be Jivin' Too". or "I Feel Like Breakin' Up Someone's Home". Sad without being somber.

i don't need anything to help me be more sad. but to make myself relax or feel better i listen to william wilde zeitler's glass armonica.

I listen to things like this when I'm not quite sad but not quite totally happy either.
