Doesn't offend me, I find it deeply sarcastic and amusing myself. Cannot deny there are certain truths contained within it.

If you want an amusing wikipedia parody, try http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Main_Page. They take the piss out of AS, but they also take the piss out of everything else. It's what the sites for. Unlike encyclopedia dramatica, however, some of the stuff is actually quite funny. Try looking up their article on neurotypicals.

The whole site's a joke. It's not real. It's all humor.

I agree, there are some people with AS that are the target of this site, like there's a guy I know, he shouts it everyone, that he has AS, and that he is Special, where as before, I say to people my personality is a "unique taste", you either like it or hate it, that's pretty much it, but for me to understand why I'm the way I am, now I can combat it, be it, I'm almost 30 and set in my ways, but I can try...

Encyclopedia Dramatica is BS. It's just a site where people with no lives go to insult people.

This article is great, its about neurotypical syndrome

http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Neurotypical_syndrome

"...Another highly visible symptom is that of their ritualistic activities, such as the rote utterance of phrases of little apparent meaning, particularly in social contexts. Typically, NTs involved in such "conversation" will exchange memorized stock phrases related to things such as the weather or the feelings of themselves and others, showing no interest whatsoever in the responses unless they do not fit the expected pattern, in which case the NTs will be offended by, or ironically, consider the person to make the comment mentally deficient. Other common ritualistic activities include, but are not limited to, excessive use of body language, incoherent shouting and monkey-like vocalizations, (particularly when inebriated in the presence of a pack of fellow NTs) and the obsessive-compulsive performing of strange gestures and uttering of nonsensical phrases, often as part of a religious practice"

"...A few have been known to "recover", i.e. afer exhibiting neurotypical behavior for much of their lives they suddenly decide to become Aspies normal members of society. Thankfully our scientists are looking for a cure as we speak. Hopefully this dreadful disease can be stopped. so far the only way to cure it is with reapepted beatings and if it contuines, euthnasia or mercy killing to end their suffering and the suffering they cause those around them"

"...A dangerous faction of self-described NT sufferers have begun to learn to use computers and are demanding tolerance for their defective neurological wiring, which after all, is the wiring of most people. Even some NT sufferers who allegedly party every day are still able to use a keyboard and make a good case for acceptance of NT syndrome. The (nutty) position the movement considers most fundamental is that NT is not a disease, syndrome or disorder at all, but simply a way of being, part of their personality."

Heh, this is actually pretty old news. That site's been around for a LONG time.

I thought it was hilarious, myself. But then I like making fun of the AS diagnosis--it helps me cope with it.

I also thought it was very funny. But then I'm on rather a high dose of Prozac at the moment.

Got a couple of chuckles, but not too impressive. I've seen better humor in my fridge.
