Death is innevitable, and it scare me... I don't want my conscience to disappear in the nothing. Of course I do hope there is some kind of life after death, but there is nothing to prove it, and it scare me that they would be nothing after death. :(

First, death is quite overrated : after all, for one it happens very rarely.

I don't believe in death. I don't believe either, in the unity of the mind outside our little bodies.

I do believe in God, the biggest set of all sets, infinite, containing all sets and therefore, the only One whom His tiniest part is as great as the whole.

Briefly said : it's just a matter of faith. There is no use to reason on what it is out of reach.

No need for joy or sadness, no need for fear.

This is a pretty interesting take on the fear of death. I'd be interested to hear your response to it.

Personally my fear is not so much that I will die but that I will die without having lived a good life and helped people. I don't want to be useless.

WelI if there is no life after death nothing matters in the end, so you might as well just hold onto your faith in an afterlife because if you are wrong it doesn't matter, but if you're right it pulled you through. Just don't think about, you still got a long life ahead of you.

Death is the great non-subject.
You can talk about the things the things that surround it, but not the thing itself, it's just an emptiness.

My advice: focusing on living your life well, and then there's nothing to fear when it comes to its inevitable end, one way or another.
After all, life is all you have access to at the moment, so why worry about anything else?

If life after death exist it's likelly something beyond our comprehension in which time don't really make sense, so no reason to fear it. I don't see reason to not fear a nothingness after death though. Void don't reassure me, it scare me. As for living life to it's fullest, I'm unable to do that; my life suck, nothing will change it, and yet I fear death. :(
