I'm tired. Just tired.

I am 21 and I've already turned into a cynical old bastard. I just want to snap and break away from it all. Do the the things I want to do but can't because I'm too damn busy trying to be Mr. Responsible Adult.

-Plant a garden.
-Enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise.
-Learn how to knit/sew/crochet
-Learn how to play an instrument.
-Get better at painting.
-Sleep and not feel guilty about it.
-Go to the movies.
-Jump in puddles.
-Enjoy a meal.
-Watch a movie.

And more... I just get tired of the constant stress and anxiety. I want to wake up and just do nothing. I want to focus on making friends and living life.

At least you have a list of things you want to do and that's good. I was expecting to read a post about wanting to die.

I feel the same alot of the time. There is no time to do enjoyable things. I never have the health to do what I want. I just want to take a break from being in my body for a while and go and do something enjoyable. But my main focus is using my energy to work and then to rest at night and at the weekend so that I'm not so tired the next day that I can't get through another day of work. I am bored of having to look after my health.

Can you take a week's holiday from your job and have some time to re-charge?

Lord, I wish I could. But I work for Walmart and a.) it's the holidays and b.) I am part-time. I don't get to negotiate time off, sadly. I'm also in college, which only adds to my stress.

Maybe you are suffering from clinical depression?

Your post made me smile. I feel the same way.
I hope things get better for you.
