So I ended up getting in a bicycle accident hitting a curb and landing face first on the pavement leaving me temporarily uncocnscious as I try to get back up I get greeted by the paramedics and told to stay put and was rushed to the hospital, I ended up having to stay the night hooked up to heart moniters and ivs and such with ointment applied to my scrapes all over my face and chin and my cloths stripped down naked *how embarassing* I did not like it with all these loud noises and bright lights and told not to move and forced to wear a stupid collar half the night even though my neck is fine luckilly i didnt have any broken bones just a few bruises on my side and scrapes on my face and a chipped incisor and a cut and swollen lip. I was scared but luckily i was released early the next afternoon. Im bit sore but im a tough bastard. Im surprised someone called the paramedics I guess i gave someone quite the scare but im ok now. I wish sensu beans were real I could use a sensu bean right about now.

Hi, they probably gave some warning signs for you to watch out for and potentially go back, right?

And with concussion, I've read that it's recommended both cognitive and physical rest. The part with cognitive rest kind of surprised me.

I'm glad you're okay, too. Just please take it easy for a couple of weeks.

I've only had to visit people in the hospital and even that sucks. I remember my mom saying that the beeping (and the other person in the room) made it hard to sleep.
But, good you're ok. If I'm even in the ER I hope I'm totally unconscious when they cut my clothes off. Holy crap.

Im surprised someone called the ambulance, I guess the world isnt as apathetic as I thought it was regardless of how cruel and unforgiving it usually is, I would have expected no calls to be made as I lie there unconscious and freeze to death on the sidewalk..but I guess that didnt happen, kinda slightly gives me a new outlook on life at times.

I just sent you a cyber senzu bean. I hope you are recovering ok. Hospitals are the worst place for sensory overloading. Get well soon

Did they at least send you home with some good painkillers?
