Migraine. Perfect excuse to get out of this kind of thing. There's no real way to "test" the claim, and anyone that's had one knows just how bad they can be. When I used to get them in high school, if I ever had a day where I just couldn't deal with being around people, I'd fake one. At that point I figured that was reasonable compensation for getting migraines in the first place, let alone on days I actually wanted to try and go to school, or that I had other things to do / that I wanted to do. Silly reasoning, but a pretty good excuse, if you don't mind telling the occasional white lie.

I can now look forward to a nice evening courtesy of the telly, with Have I Got News For You starting at 21:00 and a nice old episode of The Avengers on later on. I even picked up a pack of Rich Tea biscuits earlier on for me to nibble my merry way through. Heaven.
