8. I just caught up with all my homework, so I don't have to worry about that, AND I get a weekend to myself without my brother asking me questions every second.

5.

I had a lovely walk this evening to find my tea, then ate it, which was good too.

On the downside I have until about 20:30 to come up with an excuse not to go to a bloody party tonight with people I don't have much time for.

I considered telling them that i'd rather get a sensitive part of my anatomy caught in my trouser zip than spend any amount of time in a 'social setting' with them, but despite that being the truth I decided that I need to be a little more tactful.

Sadly, tact requires thought, thought requires effort, and effort requires energy, which is something I have little of.

Hohum.

6. I'm feeling a bit better. I'm listening to Ferry Cross The Mersey by Gerry & The Pacemakers.

Migraine. Perfect excuse to get out of this kind of thing. There's no real way to "test" the claim, and anyone that's had one knows just how bad they can be. When I used to get them in high school, if I ever had a day where I just couldn't deal with being around people, I'd fake one. At that point I figured that was reasonable compensation for getting migraines in the first place, let alone on days I actually wanted to try and go to school, or that I had other things to do / that I wanted to do. Silly reasoning, but a pretty good excuse, if you don't mind telling the occasional white lie.

Your suggestion has been employed successfully, so thanks are in order. :D

I can now look forward to a nice evening courtesy of the telly, with Have I Got News For You starting at 21:00 and a nice old episode of The Avengers on later on. I even picked up a pack of Rich Tea biscuits earlier on for me to nibble my merry way through. Heaven. 8)

Was around a 5 or 6, dipping back down. Haven't watched the movie in any real capacity today. Almost feel...guilty? It doesn't make much sense. Somehow I managed to get my mind off of Monday's events pretty well. Still think about it, but not bogged down by it too badly at the moment, better than earlier in the week.

Still...that damn movie.
