Really bad mental problem I get

From time to time I get this thing where everything I normally like feels unfamiliar and I lose all interest in things for example videogames which I normally like. It's worse than that though because I feel like my whole internal "world" is out of whack and it's very painful. It usually doesn't last long like under a week but it's still plenty bad. I am wondering what causes this and if anyone else has it.
