my family doesnt understand me

hey guys
my lil sister was fighting with me earlier and my mum just blamed me and was swearing at me and she said i use my disability to pick on my sister and i do not
and now she s not going to drive me to town anymore

she made me very upset and the only way i coped was by drinking
she doesnt understand my autism and she never will

My family are kinda like that too, when I say something they don't take it seriously and might start making fun of it too.

My family's always been like that towards me. I prefer to pretend they don't exist.

Because your mom doesn't want to accept that you are disabled and is trying to make you normal. Shes probably like I will do anything to make my daughter normal so she either denies that you have it or tries to ignore it.

I think it's true for almost everyone's parents, they never fully understand you. Just don't confuse it with "they don't love you" because I doubt that is the case.
