Alright, to be serious, I'm better today. But did I ever jump the gun on that soup! The commode will claim it soon!

Just let it all hang out. And make sure your TP is soft.

Feel better, sir.

Thanks! It's been 12 years since I had something like this. I forgot how much fun spending the day puking can be!

You'll be fine in 24 hours, at the most.

Drink plenty of water.

And don't prevent yourself from vomiting, and the other thing.

Oh, there's no way I could prevent anything from coming out of any orifice! (This might be the most disgusting thread ever on WP!)

There's been worse-- trust me!

Some guy talked about how he likes women to go to the bathroom on him.

Aww, Vegetableman, i feel your pain. I had salmonella food poisoning several years back and i was never so sick in my life. Do you have anyone with you? If you get too dehydrated, go to the dr or ER for some fluid.

I ended up in the ER 3 times in 4 days for fluid with a bp of 70-80 systolic each time. I was unimpressed with the ER docs--they kept saying it was a stomach bug, gave me a bag of i.v. fluids and sent me home each time. But they gave me fluid which kept me from dying so i am grateful for that anyway.

I was 2 wks post surgical and the dr who did the surgery was on vacation at the time. When she got back, a few days after i got sick, she was very concerned for my long term health and it was only then that i realized what a skeleton i had become. (I was not really checking the mirror at the time--i had my hands full crawling back and forth between the bed and the bathroom.) i lost 15 lbs or so in a week's time.

Take care of yourself and hope you soon start to feel better!

Wow, that sounds pretty nasty, probably.an.aspie! I think I'm getting better, but the nausea still gets terrible if I try to move around too much. Thanks for the kind words!

The ER also sent me home with Zofran which helped with the nausea enough that I could at least drink some fluids. If you end up going to the dr, i would ask for some if they don't offer it.

Doing better this evening, thanks! I managed to get a little food down without it making me sick. I'm hoping tomorrow I'll be able to leave the house.
