Not sure depressed or what. But slept till 11AM then laid back down 3:30 I'm bored! Family is gone house to myself but I'm bored! Don't feel like a video game or reading that big library book I need to finish. Just don't feel like doing anything! Yet usually days family goes to work I do a game/book and it's OMG! house is dirty OMG! we worked all day! OMG! The other day after feeling fatigue most of the day I was ready to rush around and clean (at 7PM) usually we are winding down with t.v. relaxing but I was WIRED and ready to go go go! After a day of fatigue.

Wish I could get into a game or that book since I DO have the house to myself and IT IS Quiet no arguing/yelling family which IS peaceful. :-)

Lay back, enjoy the peace and cultivate the fine art of doing absolutely nothing.

I'm rarely bored. If I'm bored, I sleep. Maybe that's why I have trouble sleeping.

Quite simply, no. I can stare into space all day. I never tire of alone time doing nothing. Problem is, I rarely get that chance because of a hectic work schedule. I don't really understand people who get bored.

Do you have any goals?

Sometimes not having things to aim for or things expected of you makes you bored. I get this during summer when I'm not at university and it sucks.

I have found starting a project of something I need to finish can help entertain. Have you considered learning something new or writing a book?

Sorry if this isn't very helpful

No, I have never been bored. (The whole "absorbed in the autistic inner world" thing.) :) I could easily wait 3 hours in a quiet waiting room for an appointment, no need of book, phone, kindle, tablet, etc. I've got built-in entertainment!

I understand this. It's like a never ending loop. It's weird that sometimes I look up and I've not done anything at all. I feel more of a pull to do nothing than to do something. I do push myself to do laundry. I shower. I eat. I watch TV. I have no motivation. I do get bursts of energy here and there. Like now, doing a fitness challenge or organizing my desk. Or even some small crafts. But most of the time, there's nothing. And this scares me. I'm not even sure where to start at this point or how to be productive.

I don't know if I'm rarely bored or I'm so used to being bored that it's just my norm now :-s
Whatever it is, doing things, even things I end up wanting to do, raises my arousal/stress which means my irritability is a lot easier to set off.

I'm with the 'I can sit for hours with nothing around and be fine' crowd though.
