I am about to hit 30. Parents haven't been much support in anything I wanted to do.

I do have a company(product). We are yet to make profit. Have a good team(small) working with/for me. We definitely are moving in some kind of good direction. Still have a lot of financial issues. Have been managing in some manner.

But, personal life has always been an issue. Family has always ridiculed and discouraged everything that I wanted to do/achieve and obviously no support of whatever kind. Quest to find any kind of partner has yielded in zero results. Dating sites has not worked out. Nothing has resulted in more than first date (2 dates is what I have had till now). From the past couple of months, every request(probably around 100) has been declined on a dating site. Not a single tinder match. Have not had any girlfriend / relationship till now. I feel like I want to kiss some one.

All the issues with career coupled with personal stuff is taking a toll. And I feel like I need to experience a good time which isn't happening. Want to take a break which I cannot do as i am running the company.

Just looking for some kind words I guess.

I know how you feel. Society has these unrealistic demands on how things should work. I don't even mess with dating sites. It seems like in order to be someone you have to be fake. If you don't live up to the status quo, you're no one. It's horrible. At this point, the only thing I can tell you is go at your own pace. If your parents don't support you on this one, that's their problem. Sometimes you have to move to your own beat and if you're lucky, you'll find someone who's open-minded and can look past your imperfections.

You've essentially described my life.

And yet, I can't shake the feeling that something great is waiting for me.
