Outside of learning about computers, I really wanted to have other hobbies besides gaming that I can get into. I wanted to get into art but at the time of me going to college, I just can't make the time for it. When I do have that time to make something art-related. it just looks like this... http://moo5tar.tumblr.com/image/150199164231. I may be only 21 but I feel like I'm going down a road where I'm going to regret my choices in life. rushing out of high school without a clear plan of getting into a career was a mistake. On top of that, the last time I was in a relationship was 4 years ago in high school. I'm at the edge of having a mental breakdown due to just having to be born with this awful condition known as autism. The fact that it is going to take me LONGER to learn anything in life is just sad.

mee too, join the club. :flower: at least you had a relationship, that makes you something of a source of hope for the rest of us singleton aspies. :wtg: you are still young, don't sweat not quickly finding your way in life, some people like me find that life just passed them by in their old age, you will probably avoid that fate by a country mile, this I believe.

You've got time, yet.

Some people change direction several times in the course of their life....you may be one of them.

My mom went back to school in her fifties to get into a career that was close to a lifelong dream career she'd never been able to pursue -- and she did this after decades of being unemployed and on disability. Not saying everyone can do that sort of thing or that everyone will find they have the resources (material and personal/physical/inner) and opportunities required for their specific dreams, just that it can and does happen....and that makes me think there is reason for everyone to hope and to have dreams -- even if you have to sort of remake your dreams a little bit, or find new ones, along the way.

It is hard to accept limitations, though....I have struggled with a lot of frustration and despair over how difficult some things will always be for me. I still come up against situations that make me feel those feelings all over again.

Don't let something like having autism get you down. Everyone has issues to varying degrees, whether they show it or not. Improve what you can and roll with what you can't.

If it will take you longer to learn something, why not start now? Is there any time at all that you can spare to building a career? You're young... you really do have miles of time ahead. Start now. I bet you can work out how to start building your future if you really think.

Doesn't everyone...not trying to be sarcastic or anything, but I have felt it before and have come to find most people wish for that at some point in their life. It inspires me to live life to the end and feel my regrets but not dwell on them, I mean a couple years ago even my life was sh*t...It still is in a way I mean I am still in poverty, but on the other hand I have gained a brighter outlook on life even if it does end sooner than latter.

it would be good if life could be played like a game sometimes.

in some RTS games, when you click on a unit like a soldier, a health bar appears above their head, and it you can see the sick ones easily.
if you double click a unit, then all units like that unit will be selected, and you will see all the health bars above their heads.

i wish, when i walk into a supermarket, that i could double click on a person, thus select all persons in the shop to see the ones with the low health bars over their heads and avoid them.

but life's not like like that

You are still young...turn off the path you are on now if you don't like it...just saying....we are our worst enemies a lot of the time.

I definitely agree and wish that life had a reset button >< but that's not how it works.....yet =P

You are a smart kid it sounds like, I think you can do great things if you put the time/dedication in.
