I live in India and I've always wanted to get out of here. It just too crowded and chaotic. I can't even go out without listening to calming loops on my earphones, and even then the noises, smells, dust, chaos, come through.. i used to be braver when i was younger but as i age, i gets more and more difficult. its scary and unpredictable. I feel like a freakin delicate flower and i hate it. There are lots of things that are surreally interesting here, but my senses just overwhelm me. I wish i could be less oversensitive and enjoy the chaos.

Do you live in either Mumbai, New Delhi, or Bangalore?

Born in Bengal, lived in Mumbai, Hong Kong and Singapore. Moved back to Bengal. In Calcutta. Don't know if you've heard of the place.

India is a big country...I'm sure you can find a nice quiet town or village to live in.... :D

Move to Canada, we've got tons of open space here! :D Just be wary of our cold temperatures.

Calcutta is the New York City of India. VERY crowded, and loud, but full of energy, (thats what I hear). The worst of the worst place for someone like you. Lol! Maybe its quieter up in the Mountains. Like in Kashmir (as long as they dont start another war in that region).

Calcutta is quite famous in the West, for various reasons both good and bad.

I think they call it Kolkata now.

Even though India has about 1.2 billion people or so, there's still lots of nice open spaces.

You should live in a place like Darjeeling. The climate is really lovely there. And there's lots of open spaces there.

Can you move to the countryside, to a smaller town or village? Do you have any relatives in a smaller place, who might be able to help you move there?

I can relate to being in a major city as being just what an aspie does not need, sensory-wise. There's too much going on in my city too, for me.
