I'm not sure if this question belongs to this very thread, but I'd like to have a piece of advice... How does a person get someone off their mind? I've been sruggling to do that for months. I know that you should remove all the things and objects associated with the person you want to forget, but nothing helps. Everything I do and think about eventually brings me to the thoughts about this person, and I am desperate to overcome this state... I would appreciate any thoughts.

There isn't really anything you can do but give it time, the feelings eventually fade. I'd suggest trying to fill your time in the meantime with other things and other people.

repetitive thoughts are like earworms, and can be dealt with like earworms- by focussing on the end of the song.
so... think the situation through once, reach a conclusion, and whenever you find yourself beginning to rethink the situation - focus on the conclusion you had reached.
it still takes time and all, but it keeps you from revisiting the whole train of thought over and over again-
