He was one of few people here nice to me. His departure is sad. I hope he has a good life.

Aw, Magna’s gone too? We just keep losing more and more good people

Though to be honest I am on less often than usual and am considering taking a complete break myself, and just popping in every now and then to let people know I’m still alive and so I can join in again once this place is back to being an autism support forum instead of a political war zone. The atmosphere here has changed so that it no longer feels like a refuge to me.

Another sensible, well mannered member gone.

Had only recently had a few short back and forth’s with him, a pleasure to converse with.

Indeed. I rarely engaged him directly but definitely appreciated his articulated, dignified and always polite manner here. This is what I call having character, reflected both in self-respect and respect for others.

It always saddens me to see people who contribute in a positive manner and keep this community's head above the water leaving.

I want Legion to disappear, D & D. I would miss you—but if leaving WP would make Legion disappear, then I would be for it.

But I don’t think it would—so please stay!

Magna is not really a conservative. He’s more a believer in self-reliance, perhaps similar to some libertarians. He’s a family man. He’s certainly no racist or fascist.

He’s also a man of intelligence and of thorough thoughts. I could use some of his thoroughness.

Have they left only because they're "good", or are they "good" only because they've left?

Have they left because we're all "bad", or are we all "bad" only because they've left?

It seems to happen a lot that people say nice things about the "dearly departed" only after the are gone.

It also seems to happen a lot that people say bad things about those left behind only after someone leaves.

Where has he gone? I like Magna.

A douche is someone who is obnoxious.

Obnoxious = not being nice?

My language skills are limited at the moment from the looks of it.

Douche. Reminds me of two people friendly fist punching each other and saying "Douche". Why it was confusing.

An obnoxious person is not a nice person—and this person is very persistent about it. If somebody follows you around and teases you about your interest in trains, that person is obnoxious.

A “douche” is also something which women use to clean themselves up. Your mother might be embarrassed if you asked her what “douche” means.

Will he come back one day i dont know, many here have left and joined other forums that I’ve been told are nicer to people.

Maybe he’ll be there on the other side with the others we have lost here.
