It does sound like an aspect of it but I am a little unsure of if what I experienced wasa few breakdowns or burnouts. I am actually hoping that when I am assessed they can tell me.

Just knowing there is someone to talk to who understands has given me hope. I have been supported so far even without an assessment. Little things. Like providing me with an exemption letter when I found that I just could not wear facemasks. I just could not do it. I have found I can manage a face shield but not for long.

Try to reduce the number of committments that you have so you can give yourself a mental rest for a bit is the best advice. No doubt you will already be doing this.

I find it best to avoid watching the news and separate onesself from it. Much anxiety and depression comes from the news media and the majority of it we don't need to know at all.

Experiencing positive emotions is release of neurotransmitters in the brain, having fun means "spending" from your happiness "budget". To spend you need to earn first. You are doing all the things necessary to replenish your "budget"? Enough direct sunlight, fresh air, physical activity, healthy diet?

You mood depends on working out, not the other way around. Waiting for the right mood to do something your mood depends on is a sure way to downward spiral. This vicious circle is how people end up being severely depressed.
