Get well soon. Thinking of you Todd.

f**k you who thinks cancer is worse than anything ppl say on here. If you really think that, then surely more aggressive cancers are worse than yours. Skin cancer is common.. my grandad had it, got it cut out, and he's fine now. My cousin has brain cancer, which might get more serious. Which is worse?

Don't lash out at ppl who are sure to give you support. I'm surprised ppl still have after that appalling post.

I have dealt with patients who recently found out they have _______ problem and it will impact their life significantly or possibly shorten their life dramatically.
I have dealt with families of these patients (like you perhaps Lady Macbeth) who have been thrust into this nightmare too and have no means of making the person get well.

I tend to want to give all of you a chance to vent and rage. Stuff like this never seems easy... even for the folks who seem to take it well 'on the outside'.
:D

Fortunately it is only a weaker strain of skin cancer which means the odds are very likely that you will get over this, especially now that they know about it. My father had this a couple years ago and it was fixed in one appointment with a dermatologist.

Just try to keep a good attitude, it helps to have a good attitude to drive away cancer. Hope you get better.

That sucks man, my Mom is going through a terrible fight with Breast cancer.

She's going to die from it...

Hope you can isolate it and get it taken care of. Cancer can complete disrupt otherwise healthy people...

I never asked for your support. I've never asked for support from another human being in my life, and I never will. It's against my moral code. I just wanted to let you all know that I have cancer. It's not a super-lethal kind Pugly's mother has, although part of me wishes it was.

If you don't want support, then why did you start a thread saying you had cancer? You wanted people to post in it surely; and that's a form of support. :)

I wanted them all to know that most of their run-of-the-mill problems were pissant in comparison to mine.

Probably, and they can lack perspective, but that was a little harsh at the start.

Loneliness can equal depression can equal suicide....problems are problems. And I've seen some serious ones here. Not all life threatening but worthy of support nonetheless. No F--- to anyone who post here, this is after all a support site for people with all kinds of problems, and most related to aspergers. We've lost a few here to suicide, and it was very heart breaking.I don't want that to happen again. So I welcome the rantings on loneliness and books ect.....you don't know what is chemical/physical problems in the brain and what is not, so we should not judge each other in that way. I never cease to be amazed at how harsh people sometimes judge each other here. People who have issues, then point their finger at others who have issues.I don't get it.
